Sparking Equitable Action: Reflections from UN Climate Talks

From Climate Generation:

Join Climate Generation’s Window Into COP27 delegates for final reflections of the United Nations international Conference of the Parties (COP27) guided by the questions of Talanoa Dialogue: Where are we in terms of climate action? Where do we want to go? How do we get there?

Delegates represent community-centered organizations including Dream in Green, The Climate Initiative, Girl Plus Environment, International Student Environmental Coalition, EcoSpectrum, It's Our Future, Seven Generations Ahead, Drawsome, and New Energy Equity.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) includes 197 countries (Parties) committed to preventing human interference with the Earth’s climate system. Since 1995, they have hosted annual COPs to negotiate global climate action commitments.

Our delegates were in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt for two weeks bringing people-centered climate change solutions to life through blogs, videos, photographs, and more. Climate Generation has sent delegations to the COPs since 2009.
