Microplastics in our Bodies Panel Discussion Followed by Chicago Green Drinks

  • The Plant 1400 W. 46th St. Chicago, IL (map)

Plastic-Free July is here, and microplastics are everywhere: our lungs, our blood, and the most desolate parts of Antarctica. Recently, microplastics and "forever chemicals" have been discovered in human breast milk. How are plastics getting into our bodies and why does it matter? Panelists will walk us through the story of microplastics: what is happening, why we should be concerned, and, most importantly, what we can do about it. Join us for a lively discussion with some of the leading experts on this issue, and leave with an action plan to be part of the solutions. Panel discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, at The Plant, 1400 W. 46th St., Chicago.

No advance registration needed. Informal discussion will continue after the panel at Chicago Green Drinks in Whiner Beer Company, which is on site at The Plant.
