Plant Swaps are for everyone of all ages! This event encourages plant lovers to come together and trade pest- free plants of all kinds, which can include: Houseplants, potted plants, cuttings, seedlings, starters, succulents, air plants, wildflowers, annual or perennial, etc. No money is exchanged and it is a great way for beginners and expert gardeners to clean out or add variety to their collections. Drop in any time between 1pm - 4pm to give some plants and get some plants.

At this winter workshop, Deep Roots project will:

  • Discuss what moderators and attendees learned from the 2019 gardening season.

  • Dive into the last of the 2019, and the new 2020 seed catalogs and start planing your 2020 garden.

  • Help choose which seedlings we will grow for our Annual Seedling Sale!

  • Answer your questions about garden planning and choosing plants.

  • Discuss things you can do around your garden this winter to prepare for Spring!

  • Help connect you with garden partners.

Deep Roots Project seedling order begins the second week of February and ends the first week of March.
